It’s also great for those singles who are looking for online relationships, with features like live streaming and video chats making cyber romance more than possible.

How Does Fling.me Work?

Once you’ve registered, you’ll be presented with a list of members who are currently online. Alternatively, you can use the search bar to find profiles in your specific area.

You’ll then see a bunch of different sections introducing even more members. There are:

• Currently trending profiles (accounts with the most likes)
• New members (recent signups)
• Featured profiles (accounts that have paid for a more prominent position on the site)
• Who’s viewed me
• Your friend’s list
• Daily Spotlight (another paid feature that can get your profile on the homepage for a day)

You can also play the Match Game, which allows you to rate up to 200 pre-selected profiles at a time.

Getting Started – How To Sign Up

Signing up is super easy and quick whether you are on the website or the mobile app.

Here’s how it goes:

First off, you pick your gender. Now, the site being LGBQT+ friendly, I was thinking they might have a few more options here, like maybe for non-binary people or even for couples, but it’s just male and female. Not sure what’s up with that, as you can look for “transsexuals” and “couples” under the advanced search tab.

It’s not a big deal, though, as you can choose a basic gender and then specify who you want to meet on your profile under the “Seeking” tab. I saw lots of profiles indicating they were looking to date couples, for example.

Next, you hit the registration button. Here, you just drop in your age and city. Then, Fling.me asks for your email and for you to set up a password.

Then, confirm your registration via email. That’s it! The whole sign-up process took me like two minutes, tops.

After you’re signed up, it’s time to make your profile shine. This part is my favorite! Choose your username you’d like to display, say a little bit about yourself and your interests, and set your initial “Naughty Meter” (more on that later). 

If you’re not feeling like filling everything out right away, don’t sweat it. You can always add to your profile bit by bit. I saved the rest of mine to do later as I was so impatient to check out the profiles.

Navigating The Site

Once you get into Fling.me, it takes a minute to figure out what is what. It’s not the easiest to use, but I’ve seen worse. They could maybe do a bit better with the layout and make it look more modern, but once you get used to it, it’s okay. I actually prefer the mobile version; I found it more user-friendly, to be honest.

Now, if you’re like me, you don’t have any time to lose, so you’ll find the search feature on the main page very handy. The search bar is located right before the list of members who are online now. 

The search form lets you choose whether you’re looking to date a man, a woman, or a couple. You can also choose the age range and city you are interested in.

What I love most about Fling.me is that it shows you who’s online near you. In fact, you can narrow down your search for a partner all the way to your zip code!

There’s also a section called “What are you in the mood for?” It’s a pretty useful feature that lets people show what they’re looking for right now, and it shows up on their profile.

Right now, you can’t find the Fling app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, but you can download a desktop version from Fling.me’s website.

The mobile version of the site is quite good already, though, and the app doesn’t add much value yet.

As you can see from the screenshot below, the navigation on the mobile site is super simple. You can easily find your match, see what’s trending, post a pic of yourself, or do a specific search, and more.

First off, when a user signs up and uploads their profile pic, someone from Fling’s team has to check it out to make sure it’s legit. If they think something’s off, they’ll pause the account and ask the person to get in touch with their support team to prove they’re real. 

The second thing that keeps fakes and scammers at bay is profile verification. As you browse the site, you’ll notice that some users will have a small blue badge/checkmark next to their name. This means the person’s been checked out, and their identity has been verified and confirmed.

Getting this verification badge is super easy. You can either take a selfie, record a quick video, or even video chat with one of their agents. Once you’re verified, you’ll get bumped up in search results, which gives you more visibility.

• Details: Fling.me lets you create quite a detailed profile with information about pretty much everything you can think of, ranging from your income level, location, and profession to things like your “play level,” the type of relationship you’re looking for, and whether you’re willing to travel to meet up with someone. These details will then appear in the search results if searched.

How To Connect With Other Members

Now, let’s talk about getting in touch with other members because, after all, that’s what we are here for, isn’t it?

First up, all user profiles display useful buttons like “Message,” “Add friend,” “Favorite,” and “Wink.” These are great for either contacting someone directly or getting yourself some attention. 

For example, the “Wink” feature lets the other person know you’ve winked at them and “Add friend” shows up as a friend request, giving members a chance to contact you if they’re interested. 

“Wink” is meant to be a cool icebreaker, but honestly, it’s not getting much love from the users. From what I’ve seen, most people prefer jumping straight into real conversations using the “Message” function. I guess there’s no time for small talk – they want to dive right in! 

Another cool thing is the private video chat option. You can start a video chat by clicking the video icon under a user’s profile. But to do that, you’ve got to exchange a few messages first, which kind of makes sense, doesn’t it?

Then, over on the right (or should I say the middle) side of the profiles, there’s a section called Public Media. These are photos and videos that you can like and leave comments on, which is a fantastic way to meet new people and make friends on the site.

Let’s dive into the specific features of Fling.me. I found most of them to be very useful and practical when it comes to connecting with other members or looking for someone with specific interests.

This is a fun twist! Every profile on Fling.me has a “Naughty Meter” located right below the profile picture. It ranges from “Vanilla” (more reserved) to “Lil Freaky” (more adventurous). 

The Naughty Meter is a great way to quickly gauge what someone is into and find matches with a naughtiness level similar to your own.

Notify Me

No more FOMO! Fling.me’s notification feature is a game-changer. It’s super easy to use, too. 

Just hit the “Notify Me” button under someone’s profile, and boom – you’re set to receive instant alerts when they’re online or use the video chat. It keeps you in the loop without having to constantly check people’s profiles.

Status Updates

Fling.me has a cool social media vibe. Just like on Whatsapp, Facebook, or Instagram, you can post status updates to express yourself. And if you’re a bit shy, no worries, you can set your status to private. 

It’s a great way to share what’s on your mind and connect with others who resonate with your thoughts.

Last Seen

This feature is super practical! Fling.me shows the last-seen date on profiles. Before you message someone, check this out – it saves time by showing you when’s the last time they were active. 

A little tip: don’t bother messaging profiles that have been inactive for weeks if you’re looking to make quick connections.

Advanced Search Filters

Fling.me is all about precision in search. Apart from standard filters, like gender and location, you can narrow down profiles by appearance (i.e., body type and ethnicity), profession, or compatibility (marital status or religion, for example).

With Fling being more oriented towards casual dating, you can also search for members based on their sexual interests, such as:

• FWB dating
• Threesomes
• Experimenting, and more.

If you know someone by their username but they’re not in your Favorites or Friends list for some reason, you can search members by name as well.
